With paintings by Jean-Michel Basquiat and Claude Monet to sculptures by Louise Nevelson and Auguste Rodin, art enthusiasts, collectors, students and anyone interested in the art world can learn about masterpieces, artists, and art movements from the safety of their own homes. Quiz categories include Contemporary Art, Impressionist and Modern Art, Urban Art, Photography and Female Artists.
“Art Master is a game I created to help art lovers reconnect with the art world during this difficult time.” said Adam Cooper, CEO of ArtCollection.io. “In the first week, we saw users answer more than 250,000 questions related to Contemporary Art. I’m amazed by the positive response to the game, and I look forward to helping the art community in whatever way I can.”
Art Master is easy to play. Once users select an art category, they are shown two pieces of art and asked if they can identify the masterpiece that was created by the artist listed at the top of the page. If they get the answer correct, they are awarded a point. If they get the answer incorrect, they are given the opportunity to learn more by browsing a detailed page with artist biographies and similar works. High score achievers are awarded badges and get their name on a leader board with the potential to win prizes and rewards in the future.
